Persona 3 Portable heads down under

Thu, 3rd Nov 2011 | Posted by Ross

Hi Everyone.  There’s been a lot happening here at Ghostlight since the last blog and I’ve got a lot to share with you all.  We’re obviously all very excited about the official release of Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky tomorrow.  We’ve still got Persona 2 T-Shirts and Trails in the Sky posters left in stock, so why not order now at the above links or, if you want to get both, you can order our fantastic Trails of Innocence double pack and save £10.

Some of you may have noticed our special Monday Bonus Blog. If not I’d highly recommend that you check it out and not just because you get to read another blog that I’ve written :-).  It contains a link to a very interesting article from Joystiq entitled: “The Best JRPG you haven’t played yet”, all about Trails in the Sky.  Talking of earlier blogs, our spooky Halloween sale is still on.  Visit here to find more information.

In last week’s blog I promised some good news for our Australian fans and I’m delighted to be able to tell you that Persona 3 Portable will be released on the Australian PlayStation store on 16/11/2011 with the price to be announced shortly.

We’ve also been fielding lots of questions about the Agarest: Generations of War Zero paid DLC and I can tell you that it is currently going through the SCEE submission process.  While this may take some time (as there is lots of DLC to go through) we are hoping to be able to provide you with more news on a release date and pricing soon.

Finally, it was good to see some of you at the MCM Expo.  Hi again to Shulvarse and FF_Nash.  If you’re interested you can take a quick look at some of the loot I picked up here

That’s all for now, but I’ll be back this time next week.

Update- It has been pointed out in the comments by Garron that Persona 3 Portable is already released in Australia.  Having looked into this ourselves we can state that this is correct and we are talking to SCEE to find out why the game has gone up earlier than we expected.

Garron says:

P3P is already on the Australian PSN store. It costs $54.95. There is a price reduction but that will end on the 2nd of November. Odd, since its the 3rd in Australia now. Even if you cant check the Australian store surely you can check the price next to all the others in your local PSN store.

I have to say, the tag 'sinwithtits' makes me snigger like a naughty schoolboy, and I'm an adult woman! Pffft.I really really hope there will be some t-shirts left by tomorrow morning, I overspent this month and wasn't able to preorder before the release date *sobbing inside*

@Garron I'm looking into this now. The 16th was the date SCEE gave us as for the price we were waiting until we finished discussing something with SCEE to announce the price.
Garron says:

I am learning to be thankful for mistakes since this one saved me a bit of a wait.
[GL] Ross says:

@Garron While I'm glad your getting it early I must confess to being very, very confused.

I am currently playing P3P and it is awesome! thanks ghostlight for bringing this masterpiece to europe. hope we will get the persona 4 golden bita version, too!!
[GL] Ross says:

@Foxfyre Sorry for missing your comment. We've still got T-Shirts and poster available. I must admit someone else on Twitter came up with Sin with Tits but when I saw it I thought that it should be turned into a hashtag :)
Eust says:

Any news on a PSN release for those 2? I'm one of those weirdos with a PSP GO, so it's my only option sadly. :p Keep up the great work!
Cynicide says:

Hi guys, As an Australian I appreciate the effort but I've long since imported P3P; P2P and Legend of Heroes is on the way from another online store at the moment. Simultaneous releases with the US/UK releases would go a long way to stop this type of behavior. I spent a few weeks on our classification site here in Australia after the US release; checking to see if P2P had been submitted for classification here, before caving and importing it. I know as a developer you don't really have much say over where your games are released and when, I just thought I'd let you know. Cheers!
[GL] Ross says:

@Eust We'll be announcing a PSN release shortly I hope. @Cynicide We know the situation with Australia is far from ideal but it's something we would like to improve on in the future. At the moment we do ship our physical games to Australia but obviously that's not much good for those who need PSN releases.
Jakester says:

Can you go into what the contents of the Agarest0 DLC will be? I've been holding off on actually playing the game, waiting for DLC in case it was something I would want while playing.
[GL] Ross says:

@Jakester While the prices are all US prices and so may not match the EU ones there's a list here http://agarest.wikia.com/wiki/DLC just check out the Agarest Zero DLC in the US
