Last chance to apply for the Elminage Gothic beta

Thu, 7th Aug 2014 | Posted by Ross

Hi everyone. I’m afraid there’s not a great deal of news for you this week.

We’re still hard at work on Agarest 2 and  Elminage Gothic, which thanks to the hard work of the beta testing team (and of course Laughing Jackal) are coming along very nicely.

Speaking of the beta testing team, I thought I’d remind you all that we’re still open for applications to the Elminage Gothic closed beta.  With applications closing this Sunday there’s not much time left to get your application in!

As with previous closed betas, we will not be picking people on a random or first-come-first-served basis, so please do bear that in mind.  What a ‘yes’ decision actually comes down to depends on a number of factors, including how representative we feel the range of PC specs we’ve assembled for the beta is.

As we only have a limited number of places available for the beta, feel free to tell us why you think you’d be particularly suited to helping us with the testing phase of Elminage Gothic. This may include information like details of any previous experience you’ve had in beta testing, or simply declaring your undying love for the genre.  In fact, please tell us anything that you feel is relevant which may help us approve your application. J

Moving on to Lucifer’s Call, which we mentioned in last week’s blog, while I don’t have much news for you it is looking quite likely that we will be able to release it on PSN very soon. As always I’ll be posting more news on here when I get it.

Finally we’re still waiting for all the paperwork to be filled in for that unannounced Steam title that I’ve been talking about recently. We’re expecting it to be ready to be announced soon. While it is a Japanese game, it is actually quite different to most of our back catalogue being more of an action game rather than a traditional JRPG.

That’s all from me.  I’ll be back next week, but until then why not follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight? You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.
