Fate/EXTRA gets a release date
Hi everyone. Since we revealed the details of our awesome Fate/EXTRA Collector’s Edition, you’ve all wanted to know one thing [actually you’ve wanted to know several things, but bear with me here :)]: when it’s coming out.
Well, I’m delighted to reveal that Fate/EXTRA will be released on the 4th May, priced at just £39.99 with a PSN release to follow in the near future.
The fantastic Collector’s Edition contains:
- The game on UMD (obviously)
- The Official Soundtrack CD
- A 16-page Artbook in a presentation digibook
- All contained in a special Collector’s Box.
We’re also throwing in the following items for anyone who orders directly through the Ghostlight store (which now accepts PayPal):
- A massive A1 poster (posted in a cardboard tube, so no fold marks!)
- The Fate/The Facts book, featuring an interview with Rin Tosaka, as well as all the latest news from the Fate Universe.

@Reinbach It will depend what distribution deals have been/will be signed. We'll list all the countries we can't ship to in the item listing on the store.

Really EXCITED!!!!! *Spoiler Removed* Also, I know its off topic but I`ve been aiming for Agarest Zero platinum trophy and I`m almost done. All I need is to beat the Boundays EDGE and 2,500 fights and kill 10,000 enemies and I`m done. I`m sorry but the last 2 I mentioned and the 5,000 enhances are ridiculous. My hands were so tired from enhancing. Boundarys EDGE is really tough. In any case Ross, when will the Fate/Extra site be up?
I hope it won't be more than a handful of weeks before the digital release. I made a quick search when the game was announced and it looked quite promising.

@Sins Watch the spoilers there :). Anyway some of thsoe Agarest trophies are tough. The Fate/EXTRA site will hopefully go up around the time pre-orders go live. @Sam The Digital release should be closer to the physical release then with our previous games but we don't have a date yet. @rixi At the moment we're taking PSP games one at a time.
Any news on Digital Devil Saga or any PS2 classics for that matter :P Keep up the good work guys *MGS SALUTE*

Oh man, it would be cool if you could release this edition with a download code instead of UMD for VITA owners if the game will work with it. Would totally buy it! :D
Been reading the Typemoonwiki. Thanks for censoring my spoiler, I actually got worried that I may upset some people. Also its not that they`re tough they`re just unnecessary, you have to perform tons of smithing, enhancing and fights in order to get the title trophy is that not good enough, I will have the boundays edge done in a few days, once thats done kill 10,000 enemies and do 2,500 battles and I`ll have my platinum. Its funny Agarest 1 actually told u how many fights you did, but with zero you can never tell how far u are. I will have my platinum before I start Agarest 2. Also Fate Extra, so many cool servants!!!!
@Sins No probs. I try to avoid censoring too much but sometime sit needs to be done. I must admit it seems a little excessive but hoefully you're not too far off now. I'm really quite keen on the Fate series so working on Fate/EXTRA has been awesome.
@Saiku Sadly that's not something that is supported at the moment. It's a real shame :(
This afternoon we're going to be announcing not 1 but 2 games. What could they be?
I know what I WANT them to be... but I've learned to not get my hopes up. ;_;
My guess/hope is that it's Devil Survivor: Overclocked (because it's the most requested 3DS game in the comments) and Persona 4 Arena (because the Japanese release date was announced very recently).
I really hope Ghostlight will bring us Persona 4 Arena in Europe. We've been waiting for any news on its release.
