Crash City Mayhem gets release date

Hi everyone.  We’ve got lots of news for you this week but first of all I thought I’d let you know that since last week’s blog, the patch for Devil Survivor Overclocked has now been submitted to Nintendo.  Assuming all goes well and it passes through their submission process, we are hopeful that it will be on the eShop very soon.  I will of course update you when I have more news.

In Agarest: Generations of War news we are now officially a Steam publisher and we are currently working to implement the Steam API into Agarest.  In addition to this, mouse controls are now implemented throughout the game and we have also been discussing ways of implementing the pause menu and an autosave feature.

Lastly and as the title suggests, I’m pleased to say that we now have a release date for the awesome Crash City Mayhem for 3DS (released as Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible by Rocket Company in Japan).  Crash City Mayhem will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop on the 9th May priced at just £17.99/€19.99.

More on Crash City Mayhem

Experience high-octane driving thrills in glorious 3D as Crash City Mayhem comes speeding on to the Nintendo 3DS!  The more you destroy, the greater your rewards as you smash through city streets in a series of dangerous missions against an evil syndicate of terrorists.

Drive a huge variety of crazy vehicles including mopeds, supercars and tanks!

Drive anywhere - rooftops, sewers, inside buildings, rail tracks and more.

Unlock a stash of secret items and vehicle upgrades.

Dodge the cops in a wealth of missions including high-speed pursuits, rescuing hostages and planting bombs!

That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week with more news from Ghostlight. Until then you can follow Ghostlight on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight.  You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.

I'm sounding like a broken record here, but what about that PSP game you teased us about a couple months ago?

Any news yet if we'll be able to download the patch in Australia?

The price seems a little steep for an eshop release, but since it could have been a retail game, I guess it's OK.
I may be tempted by it one of those days ...

Oooo, so if I understand it right, being a Steam Publisher means you can get all your games on Steam without having to go through Greenlight, right?

If yes, THAT IS FANTASTIC <3! Good luck guys, gonna root for your success, and buy the shit out of Agarest when possible <3

eShop only? Aww, that's too bad! Sorry, Ghostlight, but no sale for me, then. I'm a collector, so I like having my games on my shelf...

Hoping for more info on "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2" soon!

@BenoitRen Sorry about the delay with that.  I'm actually awaiting more media so we have something to show with the announcement.   Hopefully it shouldn't be too long now.

@Chris Hi Chris.  I'll have to keep chasing that one for you.

@tOoO That because it was a retail game in Japan so the price probs reflects that.

@eclipsezero I'm not sure about that as it's not really my area of expertise.  It does mean we can start integrating  the Steam API into the game

@Ross Brierley Hey Chris, as an Aussie myself, I can tell you that in the worst case scenario, you can change your system's region to the UK adn you can access their e-shop. I can confirm this becasue I have downloaded the euopean eurosport application to follow the football. However, you will lose all data on Nintendo Video (not like it matters, lol)
