Agarest Zero DLC bundles revealed
Hi everyone. In an earlier blogpost I mentioned that after listening to everyone’s comments on how we released the numerous items of DLC for Agarest: Generations of War, we were going to be handling the DLC for Agarest Zero slightly differently.
So, rather than release each item of DLC individually (and there are an overwhelming 24 of them not to mention the free DLC) we’re going to be grouping items of DLC together into bundles and releasing each bundle in the weeks following the game’s launch. And what’s more, while I don’t have prices yet, I’ve heard that these bundles will all be discounted when compared to the individual console DLC prices to reflect the fact that you won’t be able to buy them individually. The bundles are as follows:
Bundle 1 Daily Extension Pack
Formidable Pack
Extra Points Pack 3
Bundle 2 Chaotic War Pack
The L Family Pack
Extra Points Pack 4
Bundle 3 Tomorrow's Hero Pack
Schie's Bargain Pack
Extra TP Pack
Bundle 4 Halcyon Days Pack
Supreme Weapon Pack
Extra PP Pack 1
Bundle 5 Prosaic Bonus Pack
Apostle of Wind Pack
Extra PP Pack 2
Bundle 6 Extra Costumes 1
Extra Costumes 2
Bundle 7 New Forbidden Book 1
New Forbidden Book 2
New Forbidden Book 3
Bundle 8 Unlock Gallery
Unlock Voices
Unlock Expressions
Unlock Movie Gallery
As I mentioned above, we will also be providing the following console DLC items free with the game from launch:
Zero Starter Pack, A Deputy's Gift Pack, Upgrade Pack 1, Healing Hand Pack, Upgrade Pack 2, Health and Guard Pack, Legendary Items Pack, Dream Prophecy Pack, Logistic Support 1, Fall from Grace Pack, Stout Defense Pack 1, Squalid Chicken Pack, Nobility Pack, Loral Beast Pack, Stout Defense Pack 2, Extra Points Pack 1, Extra Points Pack 2, Add-on Dungeon 1 & Add-on Dungeon 2.
Also, due to popular request, we’ve added a new feature in the menu which allows you to import and enable DLC in any save game whenever you like. Previously if you purchased DLC after starting a saved game, the DLC would automatically be imported to that save. I know that many of you weren’t happy with the original system so hopefully this new addition will put a smile on your faces :)
So what do you think? We’re still interested in hearing your feedback on our plans for the DLC so please feel free to share your comments.
Moving on from Agarest Zero DLC I’m pleased to be able to say that the team over at Laughing Jackal managed to tear themselves away from Agarest Zero and their latest Vita project, Flame Over, to implement a frequently requested feature. The Beta testers will know that this feature was added to Agarest Zero quite recently. That’s right, as of yesterday, Cloud Saving has now come to Agarest: Generations Of War! Now you can be anywhere and still be playing Agarest. Enjoy :)
