Agarest Avatars coming to PSN

Thu, 11th Apr 2013 | Posted by Ross

Hi everyone.

We’ve got lots of news for you this week, but first of all I wanted to give you an update on where we are with the fix for Devil Survivor Overclocked.* I can now confirm that after several conversations with Nintendo we have made really good progress and we are several steps closer to providing a digital solution. Atlus have been heavily involved with these communications and are looking forward to sorting these issues.  When this is completed we’ll hopefully be able to give you all a clearer idea of when you can expect the fix to come.  Once again we realise that many of you are understandably frustrated by these problems and we would like to reassure you that both we and Atlus are working as quickly as possible to resolve these issues.

In other news I’m pleased to report that having been online for just over a week now the Agarest: Generations of War Greenlight campaign is going very well.  In fact we entered into the top 100 Greenlight games in the first weekend.  We’d like to thank all of you who have supported this project either by voting for us or by talking about it with others.  We really couldn’t do this without you.

If you haven’t already voted for Agarest on Greenlight and would like to support us in our quest to bring more JRPGs to PC then you can vote over on the Agarest Greenlight page, which can be found here.

In other Agarest news, I can now reveal that due to popular demand we will be releasing a selection of 30 Agarest: Generations of War 2 Avatars onto PSN on the 17th April, each priced at just €0.49/£0.40.

Finally in Maken Shao news I’ve been informed that Midas have now managed to make Maken Shao available on the following PSN Stores:

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Ukraine

At last, Maken fans in these countries can now join gamers in the rest of Europe in enjoying this classic PS2 game.

That’s all for now. Please remember to vote for Agarest on Greenlight here.  I’ll be back next week with more news from Ghostlight. Until then you can follow Ghostlight on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight.  You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.

*Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked Known Issues

  1. The game may freeze when you summon demons in battle.  If you experience this, please leave the game running for approximately 3 to 5 minutes, after which the game will continue.
  2. There is a very infrequent hang which may occur when using the “Auction House”.  We therefore recommend saving your game prior to using this feature.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and - of course - realise that the solutions above are far from ideal. We are currently working towards a fix, so please keep an eye our blog and social media for more updates.
