Agarest 2 DLC gets release date

Thu, 4th Oct 2012 | Posted by Ross

Hi everyone.  If you’ve played Agarest: Generations of War 2 since yesterday afternoon you will have noticed that the game has now been patched.  No changes to the gameplay have been made; the patch simply corrects the issue which was holding up the release of the Agarest: Generations of War 2 DLC.

Talking of the Agarest 2 DLC, I believe that last week I promised you all some release dates for all the items of DLC. :) Well, I am happy to report that the first set of Agarest: Generations of War 2 DLC will be released on the 17th October with another set of DLC being released every Wednesday for 5 weeks.

So what will the first set of Agarest 2 DLC contain?

Item Name  Price
1st Extra Character €2.49 / £1.99
1st Generation Exclusive Pack €3.99 / £3.19
Add-on Dungeon 1 Lucrellia FREE
Additional Rough Gallery €1.99 / £1.59
Bonus Point Pack 1 FREE
Bonus Point Pack 2   FREE
Frensberge Specialty Pack 1  €1.49 / £1.19
Novice Hunter’s Survival Pack FREE
Right to the Blacksmith Pack 1 FREE
Right to the Blacksmith Pack 2 FREE
Troglodyte Pack     FREE

In the future we’re going to be announcing which DLC items will be released that day on our Facebook page so if you aren’t liking us already, you can do so here :).

Of course there’s no point in buying the DLC if you can’t get the game, so you’ll be glad to know that while we have completely sold out of the Deluxe & Collector’s Editions you are still able to buy the Agarest 2 Standard Edition here.

Finally, as you may have noticed, there are some seriously massive savings to be had as several Ghostlight games are currently featuring in Sony Europe’s mighty PSN Autumn Sale!  On PS3 Agarest: Generations of War Zero has had its price slashed from £19.99 (€24.99) down to just £11.99 (€14.99), while on PSP & Vita we’ve cut the prices of both the Persona 2/Persona 3 bundle & the Persona 2/ Trails in the Sky bundle from £39.99 (€49.99) down to a mere £23.99 (€29.99).  Fate/EXTRA has had its price heavily reduced from £23.99 (€29.99) down to £13.99 (€17.99) and Aedis Eclipse: Generation of Chaos is now available at the amazingly low price of £5.49 (€6.99) after being reduced from £11.99 (€14.99).

That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week, but until then you can follow Ghostlight on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight. You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.

Curses no new news on Overclocked and devil survivor 2!
Fundertaker says:

Without anything about DS2 and DS:Overclocked, can those announcements be made first by Nintendo at the Nintendo Direct later, or do you have that "right" so to speak?
OoO says:

Hey, I just saw the Nintendo direct and it was really cool to see Devil Survivor Overclocked featured in it (and quite proeminently at that)! I hope you manage to pull this trick too for your future 3DS releases, it gives you some good visibility ! Speaking of 3DS games, Etrian Odyssey IV has just been confirmed in the US for early 2013, so I hope that you (or someone else, but I'd prefer it to be Ghostlight) will be able to pick it and announce something by then (so I don't have to buy a US 3DS) ! I can't wait to get some release details for Overclocked, keep rocking Ghostlight !
GhostlightROCKS!! says:

Nintendo showed us a (old?) trailer at n-direct today and told us, it would still come out 2012. "Let's positive thinking!" -Maya, Persona2

It was good to see Devil Survivor Overclocked on Nintendo Direct. That should give it some much-needed advertising. It's a pity we don't have a set date yet, or even set month, but at least it should definitely be out this year.
Sakebito says:

Surely, news about DS2 and Overclocked are much (much) more wellcome, than any discount info ^^
[GL] Ross says:

Thanks everyone. We'll be sharing more news on the release of Devil survivor: Overclocked as soon as we have it. @Sakebito Maybe so but firstly I can only share the news I have and secondly it is quite handy for people to know when there is a sale going on.
Andrew says:

I'd also like to throw in my support for a Ghostlight published Etrian Odyssey IV. Really looking forward to Overclocked - keep up the good work!
Chadd says:

Awesome thanks, been waiting for news on the agarest 2 dlc since i got the game. Thanks again :)
SoulSeeker says:

Now that first extra character... Is that Miu, or one from different games?
nicky j says:

huh... thought we was getting the agarest 2 dlc on the 17th? i see nothing in psn store or is it in game u have to buy?
[GL] Ross says:

@nicky j It should be there. Have you checked in the latest section of the PSN Store? @Soulseeker The first Extra Character is Leonhardt
SoulSeeker says:

Thanks Ross! I'll wait with buying an extra character for Miu and maybe Ellis...
Eliza says:

I'm also an Etrian Odyssey fan, and would love to see Etrian Odyssey 4 in Europe. I'd buy it on release, even if it cost twice as much as the 3ds console.
