A late Christmas present shows up at Ghostlight

Thu, 12th Jan 2012 | Posted by Ross

Hi everyone.  As most of you know we’re quite (justifiably I hope) proud of our Collector’s Editions here at Ghostlight  So it was a nice surprise to come in to the office today to find a rather nifty late Christmas Present hanging on our wall.  You see a tardy Father Christmas visited our office and left us this lovely framed Collector’s Editions of Persona 2: Innocent Sin.

Check this little beauty out :).

Talking of things that are late sadly we’re still unable to make the announcement we promised you earlier.  We don’t have an E.T.A. for it but don’t worry we do remember about it and we will be giving you the lowdown on our latest game as soon as we are able.

I’ve also been asked over on Twitter about the latest on Agarest: Generations of War 2.  I’m pleased to be able to tell you that Aksys are currently hard at work on the localisation which I’m told is nearing completion.  Plans for our Collector’s Edition are also coming along nicely.  I’m not allowed to tell you what we’re plotting yet. But stay tuned because you’re not going to want to miss this one.

Finally there was a nice bit of chart news this week as the amazing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky climbed its way back into the PSP top 10 for the week between the 1st and 7th of January.  We’ve been getting some great reviews in so it’s great to see our TitS bouncing back into the charts.  Not only that but in the previous week Persona 3 Portable made a re-appearance on the chart at number 9.  It’s great to see that even months after release strong reviews and word of mouth can boost these great games back onto the charts.

Want more from Ghostlight?  You can stay in touch with us on our Twitter, Facebook and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight.  You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight

"TitS bouncing" I see what you did there, Ross ! :D That Collectors Edition looks awesome... Hopefully just like with Agarest, an artbook. Everything else is secondary ! I look forward to more announcements :)
Bob says:

Is there any way you guys could put posters from future collectors editions into cardboard tubes? That display is lovely, I wish I could do one as nice but of course, out of the box we have a lot of fold marks.
Sera says:

Argh, that's awesome! What a present. Love the framed DDS poster too, of course :-)
[GL] Ross says:

@Bob It's only really possible if the poster is one of the exclusive items overwise it makes things more awkward for both online and high street stores.
valzy says:

I hope AGoW 2 will not be like AGoW Zero, in term of difficulty. I mean, please be considerate for RPG's newcomer like me :/ I'm pretty much desperate finishing the 2nd generation story right now (or maybe it's just me who suck at it LOL). anywaaay.... what I'm trying to say is: please make AGoW 2 somewhat easier/more 'friendly' for the beginner. thx :)
[GL] Ross says:

@valzy I've not had a chance to play Agarest 2 yet so I can't say anything about difficulty but if you're struggling with the difficulty there is some free DLC which might help.
valzy says:

wow, I'll try it :) thx for the fast reply!
Rena says:

It start to become hard ad Generation 2 (haven't play yet Generation 3, so I can't say)
ObviusFault says:

Yes what a beuaty..... oh sry were you taking about the collectors edition?
Pepsi_Biofusion says:

I can't wait for Agarest 2, like valzy I hope its slightly more forgiving and I hope that this time theres more than 2 generations. I kind of hope Agarest 2 has a bigger (more pricey) CE than you're previous CEs... just 'cause I love the 60 pound CEs like Batman A City. Well heres to the year of Ghostlight and a very nice batch of CEs :D
FaithlessMr says:

It's...BEAUTIFUL!!! I want one of those as well!
Ailtin says:

I think there will be 3 Gens for Agarest 2 and Gameplay taken from X-Egde. I am uncertain if this is good or bad, but I will buy it either way :D
Rokuso3 says:

What a GREAT christmas present! I need that on my room. Really.
UnlikelyMelody says:

Very nice! Just received TitS and P2 as well so I'm very happy! Also, I notice the DDS 2 framed poster behind you. I don't suppose that and the original will be getting the update treatment a la Persona, for Vita perhaps?
Rikki says:

Where can I get that poster you have next to the frame collectors edition?
Anon says:

I bought Trails again during that time! Although it was the digital version, which probably doesn't count towards the charts. I can't find it boxed anywhere. Is there even a boxed regular edition available from Ghostlight?
[GL] Ross says:

@UnlikelyMelody I've not heard anything about it but it would be cool if it did happen. @Rikki We've given some away as comp-etition prizes in the past but i'm not sure if we have any left now. @Anon It's pretty hard to find Trails in stores now. You can order off our website or I believe play.com and shopto.net have it in stock.
[GL] Ross says:

Hi everyone. Just to let you all know the announcement is now due for this Thursday at 2pm UK time.
ObviusFault says:
