A Brief update on TitS

Thu, 1st Sep 2011 | Posted by Ross

Hi everyone,

We’ve had lots happen here at Ghostlight recently, so there has been no quiet week in between releases for us.

The first of the two releases was last week’s release of Agarest: Generations of War Zero.  It’s been great to hear from so many of you who’ve already received their copy of this fantastic game.  I’m also enjoying hearing how much fun you’re having with Agarest Zero.  Most of you seem to be very keen on the Collector’s Edition as well, and the T-Shirt seems to be pretty popular.  Speaking of the T-Shirt, we’ve still got a few left so if you haven’t ordered your copy of the game yet you know what you need to do :).

We’ve already started to get some reviews rolling in and here’s a good one from Ready-Up who gave it 7/10.

This past week I’ve mainly been working on Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which has just entered submission with SCEE.  If all goes well we should be able to give you a release date soon and I’m already preparing for my assault on the Ghostlight Vault of Secrets :).  I’ve heard Colin the Killer Crocodile is away with toothache for the next few weeks.

There’s some big things happening next week, as not only is the amazing Persona 3 Portable being released on the SCEE PSN on the 7thSeptember, but I’m going to be away all next week so someone else will be filling you in on the latest happenings at Ghostlight.

Zeispharn says:

Do you have some news on when DLC will be available for Agarest Zero?
[GL] Ross says:

@Zeispharn Knew I should have mentioned it in the blog. We don't have a date yet but I'm chasing and hopefully we'll get one soon.
Re: Agarest0 DLC says:

Would be nice to get similar release roadmap to DLC's as NISA did for Hyperdimension Neptunia and Ar Tonelico: Qoga (which unfortunately got disrupted by the PSN outage). Any change for similar for future DLC products? Reference to NISA game site, look for those two games and DLC link: http://nisamerica.com/index.php?nav=g

Thanks for your comment. I'll pass your suggestion on.

7/10 is a bit low isn't it? :P I was thinking more 82% perhaps? Anyway hope DLC is out soon as I finally have a PAL JRPG, as NTSC games don't support EU DLC (So I have to slog out Hyper D and pray its not all terrible - personal opinion people) ... in the mean time Ninja G 2 and Cubixx should keep me occupied. PS- Persona 4??? ... Vita??? ... Europe??? ... Ghostlight? ... just sayin'
[GL] Ross says:

@Pepsi_Biofusion What could you be talking about :)
Eru says:

Just read the Spanish interview...I think I understood most of it (Google Translator certainly does no justice!) Certainly a nice read :) Have a good week off! I'm sure you just got back from one :p All the best for Trails in the Sky and it's scrutinisation under SCEE!
Shatiel says:

finally today Agarest arrived...the box was with some signs that it was pressed under something...but in the box was all ok... only one question...when will be released the DLC?
kamikun says:

Am I the ONLY one smiling about the topic?! :D
Lozzy says:

@ Pepsi_Biofusion 7/10 is a good score and in all honestly is a lot better then what some reviewers were offering. Some reviews slandered the series, obviously not RPG fans. Maybe because it doesn't contain zombies it received such bad marks from people.
Tom says:

Any chance you'll be releasing some details on the contents of your Persona 2 : IS collectors edition soon?
[GL] Ross says:

@Eru Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the interview too. There should be an English one coming later this month. @Shatiel Glad it's shown up and the contents are all ok. We'll be announcing a date for the DLC soon hopefully. @Kamikun I had a few comments from other people here at Ghostlight. I did want to squeeze TitS in sometime :) @Lozzy I was pretty pleased with the score. It's a very niche series which makes few allowances for those not into SRPG's so if a reviewer whose not into this sort of thing gets their hands on it they're probably not going to get on with it. @Tom I've seen it and I really liked it but we need some approvals before we can show it off.
Pepsi_Biofusion says:

@Lozzy - yeah I know, I allways go by user scores anyway, where Agarest Zero hovers around 80% but I can't lie, I do love a good Zombie game, can't wait for House of the Dead. PS- Agarest Zero does contain zombies :P ... well mummys at least-same thing really
[GL] Ross says:

I'm not going to be in work until the 14th September as I'm on holiday in Nice so someone else is going to be looking after you :)
Seishoujyo says:

''TITS'' Ross you devil, I m calling this fan service, you want to be PEGI 18+ or what ? ^^ Good holiday to you ^^
